Important!

If you have a navigation system in your car please note the following:

Because the land on which the freeport is built belongs to the town of Bremen the destination to be given is "BREMEN, Brückenstraße" NOT "Bremerhaven, Brückenstraße".

If you are going by car take the Motorway A 27 and use exit No. 7 "Bremerhaven-Mitte".

Drive along the feeder road "Grimsbystrasse" and "Lloydstrasse" heading towards Bremerhaven city centre.
At the end of the "Lloydstrasse" turn right into the "Barkhausenstrasse" and follow it up until the junction at the harbour customs checkpoint "Roter Sand". Turn left towards the harbour area and pass the customs checkpoint.
Follow the road Franziusstraße through the harbour until you reach the "Brückenstrasse". The first Lloyd Werft gate you are passing ("East Gate") is only for company transport.
Carry on along the "Brückenstrasse" turning to the right, drive round the shipyard until you reach the "North Gate" of the Lloyd Werft. It is the main-entrance to the yard and the warehouse. Here you will find also the shipyard car park. Please register at the reception at the entrance of the yards administration building (shipyard map).

Entrance Bückingstraße/Rickmers Lloyd Dockbetrieb GmbH & Co. KG
Parts of the administration of Lloyd Werft are situated in the so-called Central-Building. This building as well as the Rickmers Lloyd Dockbetrieb GmbH & Co. KG you can reach over the Bückingstraße. To get there you turn left just before the East Gate, parallel to the harbour-pier. At the end of the Bückingstraße you will find the entrance to the car park.
