Our company is located in the transatlantic harbour of Bremerhaven, which is the largest German town on the North Sea coast. It was founded by the Hanseatic town of Bremen in 1827 as an exterritorial harbour place at the furthermost east shore of the mouth of the river Weser. Bremerhaven developed into a significant centre of transatlantic traffic of goods and passengers, of deep-sea fishing and shipbuilding.

Today, Bremerhaven has a population of 127.000 inhabitants, and it is the main centre of the surrounding region. The container, vehicle and fruit handling, the food industries as well as shipbuilding and ship repair characterise the economic life of this modern sea town.
