This docking company was created in 1972, from a subsidiary company of the two shipyard companies "Bremer Vulkan AG" and "Rickmers Werft" shipyard company. The company's transfer took place in 1988, in the framework of the shipyard industry's new organisation, in the state of Bremen. Since then, a dominating participation of the Lloyd Werft Bremerhaven GmbH remains.
Our clients profit from many years experience and the corresponding know-how in the finding of solutions to their problems. Our activity field includes:
- Ship repairs
- Ship conversions
- Repair of diesel engines, turbines and boiler plants
- Steel construction
The workshop area with wharfings, a 60-t-wharf crane and a floating dock, is located in the harbour "Kaiserhafen" of Bremerhaven. The floating dock has a carrying capacity of 7.200 t, and allows dockings for vessels with a length up to 150 m and a breadth up to 20,5 m. Docking of bigger units is done in cooperation with the Lloyd Werft shipyard company, which is located nearby.
